Stephanie Young lives and works in Oakland. Her most recent book, with Juliana Spahr, is A Megaphone: Some Enactments, Some Numbers, and Some Essays about the Continued Usefulness of Crotchless-pants-and-a-machine-gun Feminism. Her books of poetry include Picture Palace (in girum imus nocte et consumimur igni, 2008) and Telling the Future Off (Tougher Disguises, 2005). She edited Bay Poetics (Faux Press, 2006) and is a founding and current editor of the interdisciplinary arts /humanities project Deep Oakland (www.deepoakland.org).
